Differentiated industrial applications

The characteristics of polyester such as transparency, mechanical resistance and flexibility, united with Coveme technology, permits possible applications in particularly interesting fields.

TCA treatment perfected by Coveme permits the permanent modification of the surface characteristics of various films, increasing the surface tension. These films can be used in situations that are otherwise impractical due to the chemical inertia typical of polyester such as adhesive tapes, abrasive techniques and various types of printing, e.g. flexography, digital printing and plotter printing. In these applications, Coveme film is an ideal support for mass coating of solventless adhesive, abrasives, photopolymer coating and primers for printing.

This is a unique technology and in the past few years Coveme has developed an exclusive industrial process which permits its clients to eliminate the use of solvents in their manufacturing processes with a consequent decrease in harmful atmospheric emissions.
