Tedlar®
Description:
Tedlar® is a polyvilyl fluoride film with excellent chemical, electrical and mechanical properties; moreover, it has good aging characteristics and it is UV-resistant Hence, Tedlar® film is particularly suitable when protection to dirty and to chemical aggression is required.
Tedlar® has excellent antistick properties, so it is the perfect solution for use as release in the production of laminates for flexible printed circuits. Tedlar® surfaces can be treated with adhesives for bonding to a wide range of substrates (protection of panels, fabrics for wall covering).
Applications:
RELEASE: the outstanding mechanical properties, inertness to a variety of chemicals and solvents and antistick properties make Tedlar@ an excellent release film for epoxy, phenolic, polyester and rubber compounds.
BUILDING: abrasion resistance and atmospheric agents properties, together with colours durability, make the use of Tedlar@ ideaI as surface of panels in building.
TRANSPORTATION: Tedlar® film is suitable for fiberglass truck bodies (high salts resistance) and for aircraft interiors.
OTHERS: production of labels and electrical insulation. Moreover, Tedlar® laminated with other films, like polyester, PVC, etc. becomes an ideaI product for the realization of solar cells, decorative panels and road signs.
