Nomex® LT

DuPont Nomex® LT is a innovative insulation material . It combines mechanical and impregnation capacity for resins and lacquers. Thanks to these particular characteristics Nomex®LT guarantees superior performances in terms of thermal transmission and major resistance to partial discharge.

Nomex® LT product line is designed for several applications including conductor wraps, phase and layer insulation within transformer coils, phase insulation, slot insulation and slot closure inside electric engines and generators thanks to outstanding insertion resistance.

Nomex® LT has outstanding thermal conductivity, impregnation capacity and superior performance under constant working temperatures up to 180˚C.
Nomex® LT is supplied in a standard width of 914 mm. rolls with 76 mm internal diametre.
Il Nomex® LT is available in thicknesses from 0,06 mm to 0,25 mm.
