DyFlex®

Coveme DyFlex® insulating products derive from the coupling of a polyester non woven fleece with a polyester plastic film.
The non woven polyester fleece employed is made out of short fibers strongly calendered to the polyester film by appropriate resins.
The main function of the fabric is to improve the thermal aging performance of polyester film.
Further improvements in the overall performance of the laminate are achieved by saturating the non woven fleece with special synthetic resins.
Coveme DyFlex® laminates are available both unsaturated (ISF and IDF) and saturated (SF and SDF). The unsaturated version is natural white, the saturated one is pink (other colors available upon request).
Coveme DyFlex® laminates are designed for the insulation of electric motors, transformers and electrical equipment of class F. In electrical motors or, in general, in rotating machines, these laminates are used in slot closure and insulation as weII to separate phases on the heads of the windings.
In transformers and electrical static equipment Dyflex® is used as interlay insulator.

DyFlex® type Product structure Treatement
ISF Double Unsatured
SF Double Satured
IDF Triple Unsatured
SDF Triple Satured

Notes:
DyFlex® laminates are supplied in untrimmed roils 910 mm wide with i.d. 152 mm.
Different widths con be supplied upon request, starting from a minimum width of 6 mm with increments of 0,1 mm.
The cutting tolerance is +/- 0,2 mm.
The values given in the table are average values and not to specifications.
The total thickness tolerance is +/- 15% for laminates with films in thickness up to 190µ and +/- 10% for laminates with films thickness 250 and 350µ.
