DyVolt

Coveme DyVolt® insulating products derive from the coupling of a polyester film with one or two layers of high quality electrical grade paper. Coveme DyVoIt® laminates are made both with high and low density papers. DyVolt PD and PS are produced with high density paper in standard

thicknesses. These laminates are particularly suitable when a high mechanical per formance is required. A special Iow thickness high density paper is employed in the production of DyVolt® HD.
A low density kraft paper is used in DyVolt® LS. This type is appropriated for all the applications where a high permeability and saturability are required (impregnation with oils, resins and varnishes).
DyVolt® PS, PD and HD laminates with high-densìty papers are particularly suitable to insulate electric motors, transformers, coils and electrical equipment.

On the other hand, DyVolt® LS laminate with Kraft paper
- is suitable far wire
wrapping and as interlay insulation in transformers.
In both cases, the presence of polyester film gives to DyVolt® products:
- high tensile and tear strength;
- high dielectric strength;
- good dimensional stability;
- compatibility with impregnating varnishes and oils;
- thermal class B (130°C).

Notes:
DyVolt® Iaminates are supplied in untrimmed rolls 1000 mm wide with i.d. 152 mm.
Different widths can be supplied upon request, starting from a minimum width of 6 mm with increments of 0,1mm.
The cutting tolerance is +/- 0,2 mm.
The total thickness tolerance is +/- 15% far Iaminates with films in thickness up to 190µ and +/- 10% for laminates with films thickness 250 and 350µ. The tolerance on the basis weight and yield is +/- 12% (IEC 626).
