DyTerm® and DyTerm® LM / LML

DyTerm®

Coveme DyTerm® insulating products derive from the coupling of Nomex® aramid paper with polyester or polymmide (Kapton®) films. Nomex® layers stick firmly to the plastic films by appropriate adhesives. DyTerm® laminates are suitable far use in electrical apparatus with ratings:
- up to 155°C class F: types N1S,N2S,N3S
- up to 180°C class H: types N1D,N2D,N3D
- up to 200°C class C: Kapton® based laminates.
The presence of films inhances the mechanical, physical and dielectrical properties of the laminate.
DyTerm® laminates are a highly performant solution to insulate electric motors, transformers and electrical machines, at operating temperatures ranging of 155 -180 and 200°C. In rotating machines, DyTerm® is used in slot closure and insulation, as weII as to separate phases on the heads of the windings.
In transformers and electrical static equipments, DyTerm® is used as interlay insulating material.

DyTerm® LM / LML

Coveme's Nomex®LT based laminates are made of a PET layer and one or more layers of Nomex® LT bonded with a high performance adhesive. The range of Coveme's Nomex®LT based laminates is suitable to be employed in electrical appliances of various thermal classes:
-         Classe F-155°C : Dyterm® LM (double) laminate, Nomex® LT/PET.
-         Classe H-180°C: Dyterm®LML (triple) laminate, Nomex® LT/PET/Nomex® LT.
Coveme's  Dyterm® LM/LML laminates are availble in a wide range of combinations and thicknesses.

Notes:
Coveme DyTerm® and Dyterm® LM/LML products are available in a wide range of different combinations, normally double or triple, but it is possible to reach other structures.
Coveme's  Dyterm® LM/LML laminates are supplied in a standard width of 914 mm. rolls with 76 mm internal diametre.
Different widths can be supplied upon request, starting from a minimum width of 6 mm with increments of 0,1 mm. The cutting tolerance is +/- 0,2 mm.
